The president of Security Council has called a conference on the 1st week of February in the directions of International Court of Justice to demand Israel to stop killing in Gaza.
South Africa filed a
request to International Court of Justice on the war situation in Gaza and to
take emergent measures for the citizens in Gaza but the court has not ordered
of ceasefire.
On the appeal of South
Africa, ICJ said in his first ruling that charges on Israel regarding Gaza are
jurisdiction under the Genocide Convention and Israel will fulfill all
obligations of this convention and further said to investigate its military
genocidal actions. After the decision, Israel will follow the orders and will
also submit its report to the court. Appeal from Israel to dismiss the request
of South Africa was rejected by the Court. John E. Donoghue President of ICJ
said that court is fully aware about the continuously human loss tragedy in the
region. The court decided after bombing in Gaza is uninhabitable. South Africa’s
request for peace was appreciated by the Court.
The Islamic
Organization has welcomed the decision of ceasefire in Gaza. OIC further stated
that continuously political efforts and international community should
understand and must be fulfill its responsibility for the safety of people. The
Islamic League also praised the effort of South Africa.
Settlement of Israeli’s Settlers in Gaza
Jewish settlers
gathered in Jerusalem for a convention for their settlement and rebuild of
occupied West Bank of Gaza northern part that was troops in 2005 for its secure
safety. Different NGO’s, Humanitarian Organizations and International
Organization have declared Jewish settlement illegally and clashes between both
countries are frequently.
Israel has also
notified a committee to rebuild the news housing scheme of 2800 houses on the
disputed area. This Jewish effort will create complication for the Palestine
state. The United States is already disagreeing about Jewish’s housing schemes
in the West Bank and United States also expressed its concern on a possible
sanctions.
