  Polling of General Elections 2024 in Pakistan was started on 8 th February 2024 and polling time was from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM continuously for the people’s right to vote. Polling of General Elections 2024 in Pakistan was started on 8th February 2024 and polling time was from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM continuously for the people’s right to vote. Cast vote was counted and unofficial results were announcing. People were taking attention on media platforms for the results.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid in the whole scenario and it made top trend on the social media as it was one of the biggest battle in the country.  It can be easily watched that Dr. Yasmin Rashid is a well-known personality on the social media and on the other side Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is a well-known political leader and three times Prime Minister.

Social media users shared the screenshots of Private News Channel’s on the social media sites that unofficial result of constituency NA-130 showing that Dr. Yasmin Rashid is defeating three times Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Rizwan Barki shared and report the whole screenshots and said Dr. Yasmin is ahead of Nawaz Sharif. On the other side Imran Siddique shared surprising emojis of leading Dr. Yasmin over Nawaz Sharif.

Constituency NA-130 Lahore is considered home constituency of Nawaz Sharif because of Ramgali and golmandi. In the past, it can been seen that Nawaz League has not lost this seat in the last four decades. Even in 2013 elections, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had won this seat with the lead of more than forty thousands. Before the result announcement of this constituency by the Election Commission of Pakistan, the word “unbelievable” was top trend on the social media.

In the last general elections 2018, Nawaz Sharif was in jail. So, Waheed Alam Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz had contested against Dr. Yasmin Rashid and she had won this seat by the lead of more than 124,000 votes. She had got more than 150,000 votes.    

Population of constituency NA-130 is approximately 0.9 million. This area is famous for its historical significance as it is located on Anarkali, MA-O-College, Temple, Church Road, Mazang, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Prem Nagar, Rajgarh, Rewaz Garden, Sham Nagar and chaubarji.  

Other famous areas of Lahore are also included in this constituency like Gulshan e Ravi, Ravi Road, Machli Mandi, Shadab Colony, Minar e Pakistan, Azadi Chowk, Old Krishna Nagar, Sant Nagar, Paisa Akhbar, Kot Abdullah and Dataganj Bakh Road etc.
